sponsored by Rotary International District 3450.
The activity is very meaningful. Thank
you and all members of CNWHK providing the
chances for our students to explore their life
exprience and broaden their knowledge.

Fukien Secondary School (Siu Sai Wan)
Interact Club Update

1. Since the
first day after Christmas holiday, Fukien
Secondary School (Siu Sai Wan) Interact Club and the
Hong Kong Red Cross
YU 239 have co-organized a
fundraising campaign in the school to collect
cash donation to support the South Asian Tsunami victims.
A total of $12,921.50 has been
collected and will be
transferred to Hong Kong Red Cross to help the victims
affected by this tsunami.
2. On January 8, 2005, President
Keethinie Wong Chui Ling of Fukien Secondary
School (Siu Sai Wan) Interact Club, their Teacher
Advisor Mr. Hung and 9 members attended the Joint
Interact Council 40th District Conference at
Wah Yan College, Kowloon. President John,
Secretary Perry and me were there. To support
their fundraising campaign President John also
donated HK$1,000.00.
Thanks to Mr. Hung, President Keethinie and
all the Interact Members of Fukien
Secondary School (Siu Sai Wan) Interact Club.

At the Joint Interact Council 40th District
Conference, Acting DG PDG Jones Wong also
appealed to all Interactors and their schools to
support the District 3450's "We Care
About You" Wishing Card Campaign announced in Hong Kong
newspapers on 7 January 2005. This campaign
is mobilizing all schools and univeristies in
Hong Kong to send 100,000 wishes to the surviving
children of the tsunami disaster and help raise
HK$1 million through Rotary District 3450.
