1. Arrival and Tour of Taoyuan and Yingge Ceramics Old Street

鶯歌陶瓷老街) on 4 March 2005


President Rich Chen of Sister Rotary Club of Taipei Chungshan meets us at the airport and treats us to a sumptuous Shanghainese lunch.


Visit to President Rich's grand mansion in Taoyuan and strolling by the Old Street Ceramics Museum in Yingge.

5. The Morning After


The celebration doesn't fully end until we have lunch at
永康街高記 after a morning jog (Perry, Golden, PP Omar) at the Daan Park in the city and a
Richter 5.0 earth jog the previous night - a real and first experience of earthquake for many of us anywhere - and until we are further packed with souvenirs
and snacks to go on the plane.
