Ready for the control room in action?... Yes, this is it! The control room is right beneath us as we look beyond the glass window behind the projection screen. Spacious and surreal with a giant horizontal screen display of the status and video captures of all stations, the control room is manned by the least number of engineers.

Visit to Cathay City, Hong Kong International Airport, Chek Lap Kok

After the rail, we are ready to take a flight. At Cathay City, we are greeted by Ms Carrie Shiu, Manager, Training and Development Centre, Cathay Pacific Airways Limited, who give us a grand tour of the facilities.

Cathay City is all self-contained in facilities and reminds us of a private club house.
