Rotary Club of Hong Kong
South was the
host club who organized this special "Make a
Difference" Sports Day with the District
Sports Committee. Rotary Club of Hong Kong South
made a direct donation to the Po Leung Kuk (PLK) on
this occasion and various clubs and individual
Rotarians also sponsored the event to help fund
the day’s expenses.
The morning track and field games followed our
Rotarian tradition and were tailored primarily
for individual athletes. The afternoon games
events were designed by PLK for families with
children. PLK residential children and students
from PLK special schools and their
family members had a day of fun and excitement as
they played games such as

District Sports Day also followed on the Rotary
tradition of "community service with
partners-in-service" as we first established
at the "Make It
Possible" Centennial Sports Day on 16
January 2005.
