The Rotary Club of City Northwest Hong Kong has been awarded the recognition of a Caring Organisation 2006/07 by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service in December 2006. We have been nominated by our partner-in-service Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong with whom we carried out a joint community service project in art demonstration and exhibition in January 2006.

The Caring Organisation Scheme is organised by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service which aims to cultivate corporate citizenship and strategic partnership among the business, public and social service sectors by recognizing non-government organizations, statutory organisations, professional bodies, education institutes, government departments, etc. for their enthusiasm in building a caring community spirit. Our club was recognized for achieving the Volunteering and Partnering criteria in the Caring Organization award.

The Rotary Club of City Northwest Hong Kong has received the Caring Organization 2006/07 recognition together with fellow Rotary Club of Hong Kong, Rotary Club of Tai Po, and the Rotary International District 3450 (Hong Kong, Macau & Mongolia).
