Our club's participation
in the Hong Kong Marathon 2007 continued from
last year's 10th anniversary event. Six of us
were running again and successfully raised funds
for our club's redbox through sponsorship from
club Rotarians who did not run but generously
contributed in a spirit of support. Despite
record no. of people who felt uneasy or required
hospitalization care, all of us completed our
run. Some of us even acheived their personal best
this year. Thank you to all our supporters; wish
everyone good health and spirit, and till Olympic
year 2008....

PE Stephen Lai and VP Perry Yu arrive well
before 5 am to find an empty start area for the
race, and meet PP David Ting shortly after 5 am.
By arriving early they are able to take up
starting-line positions for the first race to
start at 5:30 am.

Here
are our finishing photos retrieved from marathon-photos.com. Some of us certainly
knew how to pose for a photogenic finish from
experience while some of us while dashing through
the finish to get our best times had our bib no.
blocked by other runners.
