Rotary Centennial Institute of Wetland Conservation Ecotour to Zhaoqing
Zhaoqing, Guangdong

29-31 August 2008

The Rotary Club of Hong Kong Northwest and led Rotarians from City Northwest Hong Kong, Mid-level, Kowloon East, Peninsula Sunrise, and their family members and friends to an eco-cultural tour of Zhaoqing, Guangdong on 29-31 August 2008. The trip covered lakes and parks, national forests, bird and butterfly watching, Buddhist temples, river boat cruise, local lion-dance and fire-cracker hospitality traditions, and prickly lotus farms. We all had a great time sightseeing, eating, learning, enjoying our fellowship, and most memorable of all, cleansing ourselves by soaking in all the negative ions by the waterfall in the Dinghu Mountain National Park.
