Congratulations to PP Anthony Chan for receiving the Rotary International Four Avenues of Service Citation for Individual Rotarians to be presented at our Club's installation on 10 July 2005. (View full image) This RI citation founded on the service carried out program recognizes that the strength of the Rotary movement is by club provides a means for Rotary clubs to personally recognize a member of the club for members worldwide, and outstanding efforts in the Four Avenues of Service. The citation commends the service carried out by an individual thereby reinforcing the importance which Rotary places on the personal involvement Rotarian in the club, of each club member in Rotary service activities. Eligible candidates should be Rotarians in good standing in their clubs who have consistently demonstrated their support of the Object of Rotary through participation in service activities in each of the avenues of club, vocational, community, and international service. PP Anthony Chan's nomination was endorsed by our club and was submitted to Rotary International for recognition. His citation was signed by RI Centennial President Glenn Estess. Here is a sample of PP Anthony's work and activities in the four avenues of service, much of which have been performed during his year of presidency (2000-01) but some have also been continued through this Rotary centennial year.
