Dear Club Presidents,
Ambassadorial Scholarships, Group Study Exchange (GSE), Matching Grants for humanitarian, educational and cultural programs: The Rotary Foundation has been funding these and many other programs which have greatly benefited mankind all these years and which have helped enhance Rotary’s image worldwide. You and your members may wish to know more about these international programs and how the club or the individual can apply for grants from the Rotary Foundation so that more people could benefit from these programs, and in turn can feel the pride of being a true Rotarian by having taken up the challenge to Lend a Hand.
I urge you and your members to attend the incoming Rotary Foundation Seminar. Details are as follows -
~ Date : 30th August 2003 (Saturday)
~ Time : 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
~ Venue : Miramar Hotel, 118-130 Nathan Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon
~ Registration fee : Not more than HK$320 per person ( including lunch and a coffee break)
~ Host Club : Rotary Club of Bayview Sunshine Hong Kong
~ Who should attend : all members, particularly Club President, President Elect, VP, International Service Director, Foundation Director as well as new members ( or even potential members) are highly encouraged to attend.
We would like your club to sign up for 4 to 5 members.
We look forward to seeing you. Come Lend a Hand to support those in need.
