Dear Centennial Presidents,

Re: Centennial District Sports Day cum Community Service- Make it Possible

To celebrate the 100 years of Rotary service in the community the district has partnered with the Hong Kong Rehabilitation Power to launch an outdoor event for a group of 100 disabled young people. This centennial project is integrated with the annual Sports and Family Day.

We would also like to highlight the other objectives of this centennial project:

1. To celebrate Rotary Centennial with a jointly collaborated social service programme to generate friendship, happiness and fun for all participants.
2. To empower individuals with disabilities to gain confidence and facilitate their full integration into society.
3. To encourage mutual aid and interdependence amongst people with disabilities and people without disabilities in an equal way.
4. To provide unity and hands-on volunteer service opportunity for members of the Rotary Family.

This centennial project will be held on 16th January, 2005 (Sunday) at the Siu Sai Wan Sports Ground 10:00 am. In order to form a volunteer group for the event “Make it Possible”, and arrange the lunch box for all participants, please kindly fill up and return the form to Rotary Information Centre before 31st December, 2004. Enclosed herewith please find the scheduled events for information.

Yours in Rotary,
