Objective:
- To raise environmental awareness and to enhance nature appreciation
- To celebrate Rotary’s Centennial with a 100 km hiking campaign
- To strengthen fellowship among Interactors, Rotaractors, and Rotarians
- To offer a platform for further Rotary services
The Kickoff Ceremony:
Date: 18 December, 2004
Time: 9:30 am
Venue: The picnic area to the right of the road after entering the restricted area at Pak Tam Chung
Guests of Honour:
DG Alex Mak
Mr. Cheung Wai Leung - Winner of four Fencing gold medals at the 1996 Atlanta Paralympic Games
Transportation arrangement:
To the Starting Point:
Please kindly arrive before 8:30 am in front of the Romantic Hotel (理想酒店) in Kowloon Tong. Bus will leave at 8:40 am sharp.
From the Finishing Point:
Bus pickup will also be available at the end of the main dam of High Island Reservoir around 1:00 pm to take the event participants back to the morning pick up point in Kowloon Tong.
