Ann Marie (left) is our intrepid architect who’s help has been crucial in the building of the clinic. She has worked alongside a local contractor and site supervisor to ensure the work is done to the best quality possible. Ann Marie comes from the Philippines where she qualified as a architect at the Admamson University, before working on several important projects in Hong Kong, including parts of Hong Kong International Airport. She has also worked previously in China on several hotel and residential projects. She returned to China after the Christmas recent period to begin work on a further phase of the building plan. On her right is Matthew who will assume responsibilities of Project Manager at the end of Jan 2004. Matthew worked in a bank for 13 years while he studied at nights for a diploma in urban planning. Matthew was born locally in Xi Chang. |

Probably the most important building in the complex. A workshop will be established in it once the much needed extensive repairs throughout are completed. Boots and limb aids will be made there. Able leprosy patients are be taught to make them - an important source for future funding. |
