project would be held on 19th October
(Sunday). After the digging work on that
day, we will need volunteers for doing an
easy and pleasant task - planting the
trees. And we will contact the Interactor
for assistance. This function can provide
the children with a better life by planting
trees on the premises of the Home of Loving
Faithfulness, and to reduce noise and air
pollution.

Our speaker today was Mr. James Haybyrne,
and the topic was entitled, “Strategic
Thinking”. Mr. Haybyrne emphasized that
strategy is very important to business. He
said strategy begins by reconnaissance and
surveillance, creating a vision of the
future in terms of factors such as
economics, natural resources, existing
capacity, technologies, marketing methods,
products design features, and demographics
or just profits. He also pointed out that a
company can determine their future, within
that future they decide their strategy –
what products or services they should
provide, to which customers, and which
geographic locations. When the companies
have decided their future plans, they must
be consistent and follow their directions.
Last but not least, he indicated that in
the center of all this is strategic thinking
and learning, the essential ingredients to
building and leading a performance based
organization. At the end, it is the
capability of the senior executives to think
strategically, to think and act as if they
were living in the future, which will ensure
success
