The Area 3 Joint DG Dinner Meeting will be held on 7^th October night at Hong Kong Football Club, and will replace our regular lunch meeting on 7^th October. The Sandy Bay Charity Fair will be held on 6^th November form 12:00 to 4:00pm, we need the donation of materials for charity sales and need the help of members to look after our counter.  The Zhuhai Golfing and Track Day will be rescheduled to 26-27^th November (Friday and Saturday).

Thanks to our Sergeant-at-Arms, PP George Li, collected a total of $520 from fines and raffle tickets.

The District Vocational Service Month luncheon meeting on 21^st October will be held at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, with Mr. Anthony Neoh to be the speaker.  This lunch meeting will replace our regular dinner meeting in October.  The fee is HK$280 per person (early bird before 30/9) but with a subsidy of $220 from the dinner meeting lowers the price to just HK$60 and even late registration is only HK$80 for members.  The luncheon is on a first-come-first-served basis, so please contact Executive Secretary Lillian for reservations.

The speaker today is PP Bernie Ting, he will talk about Club 888. The first prize of Club 888 is not yet decided, it will be either a Plasma TV or an air ticket.  This year we have a lots of attractive prizes, such as Golf Games in Macau, the US and Hong Kong, a Digital Camera, Hotel Accommodation as well as Cash and Wine.  We will have 500 Club 888 tickets this year, the first draw will be held on 18 November.  So, please post the tickets with the cheque enclosed to PP Bernie’s office or to our Executive Secretary, Lillian. 

Although the tickets are not ready now, they will be posted to members very soon with the covering letter, also PP Bernie’s office can help to send the mail to your contacts.
