Our Fellowship Chairman today was PP Paul and our Sergeant-at-Arms was PP Bernie who managed to collect $1,260 between the raffle and fines.

PP Bernie announced that the Club 888 05-06 is starting to collect prizes, if members would like to donate a prize to Club 888 can they can contact his Secretary, Grace Lam.

President Angela announced that the District Installation will be held on 12 July 05 at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Rtn Francesco will present the photos of our Annual Ball next week.

Today is the induction day of our new member, Mr. Patrick Nguyen, he is proposed by VP Thomas and his classification is Investment Advisor. Although VP Thomas cannot come today, President Angela was introduced Patrick. The induction ceremony held by President Angela and Sergeant-at-Arms was finished with welcome by all members.

Our speaker today was Ms. Helen Eng and the topic was "Changing Eyes - Common Eye Problems". Dr. Eng had given us an overview of eye problems. She started by introducing the anatomy of the eye and explaining what is perfect vision, far sightedness, near sightedness, astigmatism and presbyopia. She then introduced the correction options for the eye, such as spectacles, contact lenses etc. Dr. Eng also told us to protect the eyes from the sun by wearing sunglasses, especially when you are golfing. After her speech, our members have asked a lot of questions such as the best color of sunglasses, do they have the contact lenses for presbyopia, how to know which is the main eye etc. Dr. Eng very patiently answered all the questions from members.
