Our Fellowship Chairman today was PP Paul and our Sergeant-at-Arms was PP George. Our Sergeant-at-Arms managed to collect $1030 between the raffle and fines. President Tobias announced that the Wine Tasting organized by PP Gaston would be held on 2nd of November at Kellet Island, Yacht Club. For the Dinner and Wine Tasting at Kellet Island, it is free for member because it will replace the dinner on October; for the Rotarianne and guests, the price is just HK$280 each. While our District Rotary Foundation Seminar will be held on Hotel Miramar on 5th November, the District Karaoke Competition will be held on 30th October at the same location. Interested members please contact Lillian. Happy to report that PP George had come second on net score in 4th October's Rotary Golf tournament in Fanling organized by Club of Northeast and he took the trophy to the meeting today. Guest of Rtn Fali, Ms Roda Billimoria introduced the The Rite Centre to our members. She has worked relentlessly to develop integrated education so that every child in India, regardless of means and capability, has access to quality education. The speaker of today was Mr. Allen Youngblood whose topic was "Music in the Community and How Business can be Involved". Allen introduced Jazz music to us and he would like to advocate Jazz music to more people through schools. Our club would co-operate with Allen and a Primary School in Apleichau to teach the student Jazz Music for free. Allen studied Classical music and learned how to play piano for many years. Now he is performing Jazz regularly at FCC, and is happy that our club will have dinner there. PP Peter was happy to invite all of us to dinner at FCC and to enjoy the music performance by Allen. We were so happy that Allen had played two songs for us at the end of the lunch.
