Our Fellowship Chairman today was PP Paul and our Sergeant-at-Arms was PP Bernie.  Our Sergeant-at-Arms managed to collect $1,290 between the raffle and fines.

President Tobias announced that the District Conference would be held between 22^nd and 23^rd of April 2006 at Regal Airport Hotel.  The RI Convention, in addition, would be held from 11^th to14^th of June 2006 at Copenhagen and Malmo.  Meanwhile, the raffle prize of today was a ticket of Saffire – an Australian Guitar Quartet performance at HK Cultural Centre donated by Rtn Sam. 

Our speaker, Mr. Jacob Anderson was sick today, so we invited Rtn Danny and PP Bernie to update us the progress of District Sports Day and Club 888.

The District Sports Day will be held on 19^th February at Siu Sai Wan Sports Ground.  We need the help of all Rotarian to be present in order to support the event, in addition to volunteers for sports day marshal, and sponsorship of cash or different items.  The event will start from 10:00am until 5:00pm.  We will have Rotarian traditional sports event in the morning and games with Po Leung Kuk Children in the afternoon.  Our Club will donate HK$50,000.00 to Po Leung Kuk, while DG Peter will present this check to the Chairman of Po Leung Kuk during the opening ceremony of the event.

Club 888 is ready now.  While we have just sold 52 tickets, our lucky draw will take place on 16^th March.  PP Bernie said it is time to sell more tickets and hope that every member can sell 5-10 tickets.  We have only One month to sell the ticket, so he hopes that all of the members can input more effort.
