The RI Convention, in addition, would be held from 11th to14th of June 2006 at Copenhagen and Malmo. Club 888 is ready now. Now we have only sold out about 100 tickets, we need to work hard on this. Our lucky draw will take place on 17th March (Friday) at China Club. The Inter-Club Table Tennis Tournament will be held at Western Park Sports Centre on 19 March (Sun). In addition, the Rotary Family Tour to visit Macau will be held on the same day. The District Sports Day on last Sunday (19th February) at Siu Sai Wan Sports Ground was great and thanks for the support of all the members. On the other hand, PP Kishore just received another Paul Harris Fellowship. By now, he had received 2 ruby pin. The speaker of today was Mr. Andrew Work and his topic was "The People Under the Lion Rock - Are We Losing the Hong Kong Spirit?" Andrew immigrated to Hong Kong in 1996 and co-founded The Lion Rock Institute, Hong Kong's independent free market think tank. Andrew worked in the events management and community-building sector for 7 years. He shared with us his view on Hong Kong people and the issues of the 2006-07 Budget delivered by the Financial Secretary, Mr Henry Tang. In fact, he was concerned about the education and health care policy of Hong Kong and hoped that the government policy could promote fair competition among society.
