Our Fellowship Chairman today was PP Paul and our Sergeant-at-Arms was Rtn Mimi. Our Sergeant-at-Arms managed to collect $760 between the raffle and fines. President Tobias announced that the District Conference would be held between 22nd and 23rd of April 2006 at Regal Airport Hotel. The RI Convention, on the other hand, would be held from 11th to14th of June 2006 at Copenhagen and Malmo. Club 888 is ready now. Currently, we have only sold out about 190 tickets. We need to work hard in selling more tickets. Our lucky draw will take place on 17th March (Friday) at China Club. In addition, while the Inter-Club Table Tennis Tournament will be held at Western Park Sports Centre on 19 March (Sun), the Rotary Family Tour to visit Macau will be held on the same day and is fully booked. The District Sports Day on 19th February (Sun) went very well. Rtn Danny reported that we had a lot of volunteers, participants and sponsors involved, and he appreciated very much of their help. Then, he had further reported the official results and financial summary in which the event surplus of more than $12,000 will be donated to Po Leung Kuk. The speaker of today was PP George Li and Rtn Suzanne Gendron. Their topic was "The Joy of Scuba Diving". PP George introduced to us his Diving Club, South China Dive Club, which is a non-profit organization and has regular meeting on Thursday night at Aberdeen Boat Club. Rtn Suzanne showed us their diving trip photos, and shared her experience of diving with us. PP George told us the situation of diving in HK and he suggested us to try this interesting sports. Finally, he further mentioned that people with age over 60 could still learn it and enjoy it.
