Lunch Meeting of 29th June 06
 

Our Fellowship Chairman today was PP Paul and our Sergeant-at-Arms was PP Bernie. Our Sergeant-at-Arms managed to collect $1,120 between the raffle and fines.

Today President Tobias announced that the District Installation will be held on 22 July (Sat) at Hongkong International Trade and Exhibition Centre at Kowloon Bay, our club will reserve one table for members and it will replace our dinner meeting on 20th July. 

Rtn Christophe announced that he will move to Manila, Philippine and will have a farewell party at Wanchai. Detail will be sent out later. Also, he will have his first kid on Nov 06, congratulation!

Today, we had our EGM. PE Thomas presented the list of officers for 2006-7 and received approvals by the members. Then, PE Thomas presented the club plan of 2006-7. The highlights of his plan are the followings: We will establish one new Rotaract Club by the help of VP Stephane. For international projects, we will organize a visit to our sister Club, Yokohama Midori and friendship Club in Beijing. Also, we will try to establish a new sister club in Bangkok. For membership, we will recruit more new members and continue to sponsor the lunch fee program for potential members. The chairman of Club 888, PP Bernie, reported to us that the Club 888 lucky draw may be held on mid-January so it is about time we collect for the prizes. Vocational Service Director, PP Paul, said he will publish member’s classification on our web page for the secondary school students, and he will invite members to speak to secondary school students in our area. Fellowship chairlady, IPP Angela, announced that she will organise dinner meeting at Chinese cooking school and sea school, monthly golf tournaments before lunch, hiking at Stanley, yachting, horse racing nights and etc. With so many activities in plan, hopefully this will get members to be more involved with our fellowship activities.
