Our Fellowship Chairman today was PP Angela and our Sergeant-at-Arms IPP Tobias. Our Sergeant-at-Arms managed to collect $1,080 between the raffle and fines.

President Thomas announced that the DG Visit of Area 3 will be held on 18th January (Thu) at Hong Kong Football Club. Rotary Club of Bayview Sunshine and Chi Heng Foundation organised 2007 Living with HIV Charity Drawing Competition to raise fund for the children orphaned by AIDS in China. Foundation Thanksgiving Dinner will be held on 9th Jan (Mon) at World Trade Cente Club for the donors. Finally, District Outing will be held on 21st Jan (Sun), the program including the visit of Hong Kong Wetland Park and seafood lunch at Lau Fau Shan.

The speaker of today was Ms. Diana Tsui to talk about “Believing in Social Entrepreneurship”. Diana is come from Mercy Corps HK, which has a headquarter in USA and established the Hong Kong Office 4 years ago. Diana brought us some cases from Sri-Lanka, Indonesia, India and China to show how they help the people to help themselves, and they organised the micro-finance system to give the people in need small loans. All of their work is meaningful and need our support.
