PE Francesco reporting on the Putting Competition :

We were blessed by a short spell of decent weather on the morning of 24th of January 2008 when RCHKS held the 31stth Robin De Morgan Cup – Putting Competition

To the benefit of our HKS new members our yearly Putting Competition was initiated by our Honorary Member PP Robin De Morgan (now living in the UK) in 1977.

We have in the club several members ( PP Raymond, PP Paul, PP Mike) that witnessed the first competition back in 1977!

The weather may have intimidated our members as our Competition saw only 5 participants (4 Rtns and 1 Rtannes). It was conducted in an orderly manner and there was no breach of the newly revised Rules and Regulations and consequently no penalties raised.

Our Defending Champion PP Gary struggled to maintain his position but succumbed to PP George. PE Francesco had been leading throughout the competition but lost miserably in the last 2 holes. We had only one hole-in-one to be credited to our First Lady Ada Ma
