Thursday 24th September

PP Kazu and I enjoyed a meeting with the Rotaractors from the University of Macau, President Celeste gave a good presentation on the Clubs plans and we were greeting with a warm welcome. These young Rotaractors are full of enthusiasm and ready for the tasks that come.

PP Kazu informs me that the Club is very popular and has over 100 members!!!! Well done Celeste!

Club Meeting 21st September

Our last Clubs meeting was very pleasant. We had two visitors, Mr Shoichi Maruyama from District 2600, the Ueda Rotary Club in Japan, and his son Kenji.

We had a good conversation in English and Japanese, one of the advantages of being a multi-lingual Club is that most languages are spoken by one or more members. This time VP Thomas Leong and IPP Florence Hui proved well capable of making our guests welcome.
