Dear Lead the Way Presidents and District Officers,
This is Amy, District Conference Chair. Here are some news of the Conference for your information:
1. Opening Ceremony:
The Opening Ceremony will be held on 24th May 2007 2:30 pm at the Leighton Hill Community Hall . It is located just a few block down RIC. We are honour to have invited Mr. Wong Yan Lung, Secretary for Justice to be our Guest of Honour.
2. Lead the Way Breakfast, Foundation Lunch, all other Plenary Sessions and the Governor's Banquet:
All will be held on 26th May 2007 at the Kowloon Shagrila Hotel . We have invited Mr. Lee Che Woo 李志和先生, Silver made list of the 15th Asian Games, Dohar (三項鐵人賽) to be the speaker in one of the plenary session.
The Governor's Banquet will be full of fun. Come to eat, drink, dance till mid-night, enjoy the entertainment and have the lucky draw.
3. Spouse Program :
to be held on 26th May. It will be a visit cum community service in the Chi Lin Nunnery 志蓮靜宛. Vegetarian lunch will be served ( free if registered for the full package or spouse program ) or at a ticket price of HK$300 each.
4. Adopt a School - Lead The Way Youth Forum :
it will be held on 23rd May 2007 ( venue to be confirmed). We shall have a prominent key note speaker, schools principals, teachers, students, Rotarians and government officials to come to share this meaningful project.
5. Pre-conference activities :
a. Golfing: to be held on 18th May 2007 at Nansha at HK$920 each
b. Yachting: to be held on 20th May 2007 from Golden Bauhinia Pier to Lamma, at HK$300 each
Dear fellows: this is a Conference that you and your members must not miss, not just to come together to celebrate all the good works done by yourselves but also to support our very hard working District Governor Tony.
Please hurry up to make this Conference a success. DG prepares to recognized the Club with highest number of registration and the highest percentage of registration.
