The Rotary Club of Kowloon Golden Mile celebrate it's "20 Years of Solid Gold" on June 09, 2007 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, Hong Kong.

Dear Fellow Rotarians,

We would like to request your generous support for this year’s fundraising Ball of the Rotary Club of Kowloon Golden Mile which will be held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel on June 9th, 2007. This year’s ball will be extra special, as we not only honoring our President, Mr. David Harilela, but we are also celebrating the 20th anniversary and 20 years of service within our community. Various organizations may be asking for your help as a community leader, we sincerely hope that you will find our projects worthy and meaningful for you to invest your time and contribution. We make it our goal to support charities that are working hands-on with minimal operational and administrative cost at grassroots level, changing people’s life on a daily basis. Their names will not come up in flashing colours, as all their funds go towards the projects. They need your support more than the more established organizations, which have a greater base and source of contributions.

The brochure enclosed speaks a thousand words on what we do, how we care, and whom we help. For the Rotary Club of Kowloon Golden Mile the “20 Years of Solid Gold” Ball is our major fundraising event, and the funds we raise will be the lifeline for our ongoing projects and the foundation for new projects. Your kind and generous support means we can continue and increase our contributions and projects for those most in need.

You can help us to reach our goal by:

A] Attending the Ball and thus enhancing and adding to the glamour of this elegant evening. Tickets range from HK$1,200 to HK$2,000 each. It is traditional with our balls that it is a fun as well as fund-raising event as our intention is to provide you with a night of glamour, good food, great wine and music to dance the night away. Speeches will be kept at a minimum!

B] Donating funds and/or prizes for our raffle which as usual will offer great prizes.

C] Advertising in our Ball Programme which will be distributed to all of HK's top elite which attend the ball.

D] Limited sponsor packages are available – please feel free to contact me for details of same.
