RI President's Visit to Hong Kong

Dear Club Presidents and District Leaders

I have much pleasure in sharing with you the very inspirational speech by our RI President John Kenny at the InterCity Meeting, which was held on 7 August during his visit to Hong Kong.  Our District was indeed very lucky to have current RI President visiting us at the very beginning of this Rotary year.  It symbolized a great start for all of us.

I also would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you once again for your tremendous support to this event.  Your warm and sincere welcoming to RI President John and his wife June was greatly appreciated by both of them.  They expressed great compliments to our District, and enjoyed their visit to Hong Kong greatly. 

Last but not least, I would like to thank all the Host Clubs in Area 2, leading by AG Joseph Chan and President Mitzi Leung, and all Rotarians who helped out that evening, for their superb work to ensure that the whole event was running smoothly and flawlessly.
