目的
為推動 扶輪社的理念及發展，扶輪百週年「卓越專材大獎」目的是嘉許社會各界專業人士的卓越才能及成就。是項獎勵亦配合扶輪百週年活動以及對扶輪於社區所作之貢獻及價值加以確立及認同。
候選資格
非扶輪社社員可被提名候選.
候選人應為：
• 是其行業內有成就成員
• 展示高道德標準
• 可達到專業典範
• 在其行業有訓練或輔導其他人的經驗
• 有社區服務紀錄
選拔
國際扶輪 社3450 地區的扶輪社將候選人資料送給由區總監任命之選拔委員會評審。提名最後期限是2005 年3
月15 日。選拔委員會將會選擇適合的候選人作為評審團的決定包括：
陳兆愷先生 中華人民共和國香港特別行政區終審法院常任法官
潘宗光教授 香港理工大學校長
王如登先生 中央人民政府駐香港特別行政區聯絡辦公室主任助理
兼港島工作部部長
王 䓪 鳴博士 香港青年協會總幹事
翁以登博士 香港總商會總裁
根據評審團的決定，地區總監會將所有得獎者的名字呈送國際扶輪社和安排介紹等事宜。 頒獎典禮定於本年 5 月
23 日在 香港萬豪酒店 舉行。
卓越專才大獎的得獎人數是10 位，即香港6 位、澳門1 位、蒙古1 位、北京1 位及上海1 位。
Rotary
International District 3450
Rotary Centennial Service Award for Professional Excellence
Purpose
The Rotary Centennial Service Award for Professional Excellence
recognizes community members for exceptional professional
achievement consistent with the ideals of Rotary. This award
provides additional opportunities to emphasize the work and
values of Rotary in local communities during Rotary’s centennial
year.
Candidates & Award Criteria
Non-Rotarian individuals may be nominated for the award.
Candidates Should:

Be established members of their profession
-
Demonstrate high ethical standards
-
Have achieved professional distinction
-
Have experience training and/or mentoring others in
their profession
-
Have a record of community service
Rotary Clubs in District 3450 should send nominations of
candidates for review by a selection committee appointed
by the District Governor. The deadline of nomination is 15
March 2005. The selection committee then selects the suitable
recipients for the decision of a panel of judges consisting
of:
Mr. Patrick Siu-Oi Chan Permanent Judge, Court of Final
Appeal Hong Kong Special Administrative Region People’s Republic
of China
Prof. Poon Chung Kwong President, The Hong Kong Polytechnic
University
Mr. Wang Rudeng Assistant Director & Director
General of Hong Kong Island Sub-office. Liaison Office of
the Central People’s Govt. in H.K.
Dr. Rosanna Wong Executive Director, Hong Kong Federation
of Youth Group
Dr. Eden Y. Woon Chief Executive Officer, Hong Kong General
Chamber of Commerce
Based on the decision of the panel of judges, the District
Governor will report the names of all award recipients to
Rotary International and make presentation arrangements. Awards
will be presented at the JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong on 23
May 2005 .
The number of awards presentations is up to 10 awards i.e.
6 for Hong Kong , 1 for Macau , 1 for Mongolia , 1 for Beijing
and 1 for Shanghai .
