Speaker: Mr. Gary PURSWANI
Topic: Diamonds and Jewellery as Investments and for Future Generations
Gary has been in Diamond and Jewellery Trade for the last 45 years in HK. He is the Fifth Generation to continue in the Family Business. He was born in Hyderabad Sindh (undivided India before partition and now in west Pakistan). He graduated in Commerce in Bombay, India and came to HK, where he liked and stayed on. In 1968 they slowed down India operation and his parents came to HK to help him. He travelled extensively and had desire to have his company in Singapore, London, New York and Paris. He did succeed to do that but he failed to carry on without family help. Gary has 3 children - 2 daughters and 1 son. During their times GIA was not known and even today his eyes and experience is much superior and better than Gemologists.
